few days off

Well I have had a few days off work but now I am back and jeez it feels like I have never been away from the place!!!

I know, I know every-one gets the same feeling when they have had time off, it almost feels like going back to school after the summer holidays.

I hated that feeling when I were younger, it was horrid.
Going to bed early they day you go back but not sleeping due to thinking of all the things that are going to happen the day after.

Well we had a few days away, it was nice. Will tell you in more detail about them in another blog when I have a bit more time.

The t'other half got to play some golf which kept him happy.
I got to give me Mum a bit of a break by looking after Grandma so all was good.

We pottered in the garden and I have a lovely tan like I have been away!!

Only thing now is to get my head used to early mornings and work again!!

good to hear you enjoyed a bit of a break......and yes it is a bummer having to go back to work.
I used to console myself with the fact that at least I had a job to go back to, and going back meant that there would be funds for another break later on in the year.
Saying that, it was always hard.......and when I used to go away for 6 weeks, it was even harder hauling my sorry carcass up Shadsworth Road to QPH.

a few days away,yeh can't beat it heth, its always beneficial to chill away from home. hope yeh enjoyed.

Yeah had a the day/night at the races in York and a night in Manchester but will write a blog about them in the next couple of days as I dont want to rush the blog and it ending up being rubish!!!
