first game

Start of the season away Wycombe, Home Darlington and then away at Lincoln. Hosw though do we get an away trip to Fish Town on Boxing day and at least final game is at home to Bury

Oh bugger! Really thought we'd be at home first game - can't they reshuffle 'em :) Morecambe away on a Tuesday night in November - it'll be like being back in the days of the Marsden Trophy!

Bit dissappointing really, no local match for boxing day, away to Morrycambay on a tuesday, Hereford fixture being rescheduled cos of FA cup quarters, heh heh. Home to Lice in league cup is a bonus but I honestly don`t fancy our chances. Anyway now we can start planning.

Well I'm fairly happy. At home against peterborough on 1st Sept, no midweek game, baby due on 5th, at home against Grimsby on the following saturday!!! Would have preferred an away game after the due date but all in all not bad!!!:D

Sarah - you cannot be serious, I don't think anyone at the club is trained in giving birth. You may have to organise a midwife for the Peterboro' game lol. There again, If it is late, the Grimsby game may be just the tonic.

I'm dissapointed your at home on the 8th September, somebody needs time to put my balloons up :D

Ironically it's against stinky fish town, they seem to be the bain of my life in the last 24 hours

As a am sure Sarah and Pete know the FES is probably the best public place in the town for a medical incident. ( other than Accy Vic)

There are two fully equipped medical rooms, with similar equipment as that carried on an ambulance.

There as is much equipment at Accy as Burnley and Rovers.

Also at every match there are St. Johns people and two qualified doctors on hand for all types of incidents.

I'm sure the gentleman who's life was saved on Easter Saturday, ( outside the clubhouse) will testify that the ASFC medical staff are 1st class:)

I also think that the meek shall inherit the earth......................as long as thats ok with the rest of you!:D:D:D:D

Blumming heck some people go to any lengths to improve the half time entertainment or [if the team are in trouble on pitch - blame the distractions on result:D] or our goalie is going to have to jump over barrier :rofl38: Oh heck dont say me & Lesley have to do a brief midwifery course - mind u we've done the birthing thing ourselves:eek:

I cant miss the football u know:rolleyes: :rofl38:

Don`t listen to him Sparks, if you want to have the baby in the goalmouth of the Clayton end we`ll all be there to cheer you on :-)

Grimsby away on Boxing Day is listed at 7:45, I think that may be a mistake.

I'm particularly happy with the Lincoln away game as I'll be on my hols and probably wouldn't have gone any way. Darlington away is again on a Tuesday, It’s one ground I was disappointed not to visit, I'll be unlikely to go to that match too, I hope it gets rescheduled. And no local game for Boxing Day or Easter Monday. Apart from that I’m happy.
