No problem, next sunday weather permitting, belive me you don't want to fish big rishton on a bad day, the waves are like hills:eek::eek::eek:.

Last time I passed RPM it was a tad low on water sadly.

im a member carpon i have ;

super st.

Think they may have give up Super Street Nickelson .. haven't seen a fisherman for yonks .. just young teenagers having a go. Would be interested as live on the edge of it. Shame, as I can see lots of those rings on the water that fish make. Heron having a ball anyway.

Anyone fancy a day on big rishton this thurs? I've heard the water's well down and that makes for great bream fishing...COME ON!!

Is there anywhere not local but not that far from accrington where you can pay just for one day? And im always on canal fishing i find that maggots dont work for me i just use worms and i catch with them , what does everyone else use? And btw Winfields are selling good fishing gear at the moment :)

Last time I went up is was all chineese imported tat, but thats a while ago...

I'd be suprised if the tackle was by known manufacturers, Diawa,shimino ect.

I use allsorts of baits, but my faves are the good old castors and hemp, ultra reliable for me.:D

Seems like good tackle my friend , just nip in and have a look :D What bate do you use? Anyone?

Worms, nice and free.:D

Thats what I thought, you got anything for sale.

caligen is good , bradshaws is near bolton is always brill, cornfield near padiham/burnley dont know where it is but it is meant to be okay.

Might have a Shimano powerloop 12" floatrod going cheap bud powerloop tiprod also, give us a bell if you're interested.

Bradshaw is CRAP!, overfished, overpriced and too far to go fishing for a bad day! Every time I go, I promise myself I won't again!:mad::mad:

only do sea fishing, lucky to have a boat too, West Bay , Dorset, now there's a venue. Ten species over a weekend and Dolphins putting on a show too. That boat keeps me poor.

Like spud says we will have to go fishing. However i use worms , it seems like i can only catch perch with worms and not maggots
