Forum Probs - Help Please

Hi

When I logon to this website on my PC and access forums, I find that when I either reply or post, I can type in the title bit but not in the main bit for the message. It however works fine on my laptop. Bit strange, thought is might be the web browser but have tried Firefox also and does exactly the same thing.

Any ideas?

Help would be appreciated.

have you tried altering the message Editor Interface.
it may help.

Message Editor Interface
When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.
Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type.

Go to your USER CP and select options. At the bottom of the page you will find the “message Editor Interface” try the different options and see if that helps.
 
how high is your firewall set ,and as len says try advanced message

I have just changed my message editor interface and thats worked a treat!

I get this at work. I know they filter most Javascript + some other bits so it may be worth checking you have .js enabled in the browser.
