The Foxhill rings a distant bell....any photos/history on it over the past 30/40 years or so.
Its situated on Union Road Ossy Doug, opposite the end of Haworth St. was one of my locals in the 70s as a lived on Monarch St and our back doors were close:D was the watering hole for St Mary's Choir after 11 o'clock mass every Sunday they also had quite good darts teams and amateur football teams too, was a very busy little pub in those days

Don't ring a bell Doug, mind you it was a real local, all the regs came from nearby, very few outsiders came in, can't even think where Sharples St is, or was:confused:

Thanks Beni, had a mental block;) Think it threw me when Doug asked if that bloke went in the Foxhill, its miles from Sharples St:rolleyes:

Strangely enough if you ignore the Printers Arms (and most people do ) it' the nearest pub to Sharples St.:(

Ya but it wasn't in those day Beni, Pickups was on the corner of Pickup St. and Moscow Mill St. plus Springhill club was only a cock stride away;)
