Fraser Eagle

Went to buy wallpaper from Graham and Brown, who of course are on the Shuttleworth Mead site, which is where Fraser Eagle were based. The large eagle on the side of one of the buildings had been a reminder of this company for many months after they had gone out of business.

This must be the new owner of the "rather large" site. Good luck to them.

I used to work for Frasers when they were at Tanpits, I have just come on this site.and am looking to see if there are any drivers around/ alivefromaround1970 -1984-5.lso looking for people from other operators such as Walter Barnes business in I believe Ruston area.

I worked at Frasers when they were at Tanpits, but I worked out of the garage in Rawtenstall.I would like to know if any of the drivers are still around/alive from 1970 0n, I left 79ish. Peter Ingham, John Dickinson, I remember the bakers on the main rd sandwiches for lunch ,owned by Brian and his wife, also Margaret the good looking young lady that worked there. This was probably before your time lol.

I worked at Tanpits in the early 70s also out of garage in Rawtenstall,Jack Hutchinson was driver /mechanic,so was Alan Dyson who was a partner in the company.

I am an old fart that used to work at Frasers Tanpits (based out of Rawtenstall). I am looking to see if any of the old drivers are still around mid 70 ish, Peter Ingham, John Dickinson, Joe Jackson, Jack Hutchinson(mechanic/driver). just looking to see.

I asked my other half if he knew any FE drivers. He says he remembers when they had just two coaches Fraser had one and Eagle the other. Now thats going back a year or two!!
