My sister text me saying DOVES were on and pounding was ace.ran over to home from pub and only saw end of doves, rest of bands has been ****e.missed specials, bet that was ace.any on youtube yet ? will watch later morra night and hope for better
its a shame they mainly show main stages because plenty good stuff on smaller stages/tents and that :theband:

Specials were good ..showing my age but Crosby Stills and Nash were also good.. and Neil Young fantastic!

bruce spent more time talking to the crowd and holding hands with the crowd, than he did singing..thank god for that, less of him the better :)
watched bbc player today and bloc party's last song(helecopter) was fantastic, crowd went mental.presenter edith bowmans legs looked good also, yummy

Thought Springsteen and band played well and worked the crowd well - certainly better than Kasabian who were sh**

Neil Young was brilliant, as was Springsteen last night. Good to see Miami Steve still rocking with The Boss, despite his hardships in the Sopranos ;)

Doves are headlining at http://www.bingleymusiclive.com/latest.php

Good line up and cheap for a weekend:)

Wouldn't give the time of day to 99% of acts at Glastonbury, but that's my particular taste. What does concern me is that the BBC sent 407 employees to cover this ""event", and we're paying for 'em through our licence fee! Typical beeb self-indulgence.

Seems just a tad overkill on the staff Wynonie, but its the Beeb init

Slightly less than the number of staff they sent to cover the Beijing Games, Jaysay...and they can't even use the tired old "we've got to compete with our commercial rivals" argument they trot out when justifying the obscene amounts of money they lavish on non-talents like Ross, because no one else even wanted the contract to broadcast the concert.

No, it's just pure self-indulgence with our money. About time these arrogant sods were reined in and the amount of hard-earned dosh we hand over to them was slashed accordingly!

The powers that be at the beeb have actually said that most people paid for their own tickets, then no doubt claimed the cost, plus extras, on expenses, where have I heard that one before:)
