Good luck

Best of luck to all who are taking exams.....A levels, GCSEs, SATS, the lot. :)

My son had his first GCSE exam today - his drama practical, I went to see the play they were doing in their dress rehearsal for parents week before last so we could give feedback on any improvements they could make... seems it went well today...my youngest said the funniest bit was them getting ready as they had to be stood outside and buckets of water thrown all over them to wet them through.

They were doing the opening scenes from Nevilles Island :D

now go google :p

The downside of all the exams coming up is he's finding it really hard to sleep, any tips??

Good luck to all those sitting exams, I hope they have every success in them (as I did :D)

Reading before bed tends to get most people tired. I used to stay awake til I'd finished the book though so that wont necessarily work. No eating after 6.

When I was revising for my exams i sat in the garden doing it. Then i wasn't gazing out of the window wishing i was outside.

Good Luck to all.:)

Does that mean I don't get any good luck, or is a degree at the bottom of the hierarchy in 'the lot' lol.

Sorry, Blazey. :o

I should have included degrees too, of course.

I wish you lots of luck and hope you do really well. :)

its funny cos last night he slept properly for the first time in a while and has been alot happier today for it, he's not so much a kevin (as in kevin and perry) more just a kev now :p

We had a chat and he said the pressure of exams seems to have dropped now he has actually started them

Did you ever get him that extra tutoring?

Hope he does great:)

spoke to his maths teacher and he actually gave him some 1 on 1 tutoring, which was great for me cos it cost me nowt :)

Oh thats good, bet you were both grateful of that

It's nice to see a teacher doing more than just their job:)

I've lucked out this time round, put the effort in my other exams so I've got an easy run in - 5 exams - 2 on 5th June, 2 on 16th June and 1 on 20th June. Got a long time to revise and in 3 of the exams I only need half marks to come out on an overall A because I did well in AS and the first set of A level exams in January. Should comfortably come out on AAA and that'll get me into uni with a grand a year scholarship :)

Good luck then with that :) a grand a year extra will no doubt be a brilliant help, just don't spend it stupidly.

One thing I have learned at University is that A levels are suddenly irrelevant, and the people who have the 'best' or most A levels feel like they have been conned because of people like me getting into uni with rubbish grades. You meet some extremely clever people who have done rubbish at A level and some ridiculously stupid people with brilliant A level results. In other words, try not to get to uni and think your brilliant for getting 3 A's at A level, because you'll soon realise nobody cares!

What degree are you going to be doing and which Uni are you going to?
