When I'm on Windows I like to use Chrome. I find it really fast at loading (rendering) pages. It's also less of a resource hog, a friend who has a rather slow PC finds it makes her life much easier!
Using chrome alot now due to i.e being slow and taking an age to load pages doesn't really affect me tho to be honest i used to use Firefox to browse now i am pretty happy with chrome
Downloaded Chrome this morning. I originally used Firefox and did do for quite a few years, however it started to run very slow and took an age to start up towards the end. I tried many things to put it right but all to no avail. I then moved on to Opera which I'm currently using. I find it pretty good and an improvement on Firefox.
Chrome does seem relatively quick but not much faster than Opera. I will continue to use it for a while and see if it has its advantages over Opera.
no its not just you, its taken me a while to get used to it, i also have Opera and Firefox, i'm not keen on Opera so i tend to use Chrome and if thats not working i use Firefox
My brother-in-law works with computers and it was him who told me that Firefox was by far the best internet provider. Until I started having problems with it I agreed with him. For some unknown reason it just won't work any more on my computer which is even a mystery to him. Opera was a good replacement but not as good IMOH. Having spent the day using Chrome I really can't see any advantages over Opera. As with anything though I'm willing to give it time.
I have chrome but like many have firefox opera and the pain in the but I.E Mind you through either a moment of madness or more likely I also have sea monkey which is I belive an open source version of the old netscape browser. I find that some are better than others depending on what i am looking for. I do have a habit of hibernating my system to save waiting for browsers to load.
i expected to see you in the Bay Horse last night Ian, then i remembered it was your birthday, its a really nice pub, they had a great band on last night
