Congratulations must go to Councillor Graham Jones.
This weeks Observer tells us that he is now the big chief of Hyndburns Labour Party.
All you need to do now Graham, is get certain Councillors to stop fighting like Cowboys and Indians. Then I am sure you will be able to build a stronger Labour challange for the next elections.

So when is the first set of fisty cuffs at Hynburn Sports Centre with Peter then? Will it be ticket only pay on the door and will Sky have it as pay per view?

actualy what i did send was in reference to a witty comment about PB and calendars, i merely wanted confirmation that my comment was at least upto date if not funny :D

Anyway, the Conservatives aren't above reproach either are they? There's plenty of in-fighting in that party as well.

you know somthing graham my internet exporer has been crashing lately but only when i am using accywebb

ime sure my posts have been taken in the light they are meant as in they are jokes / pullin leg etc :)

Very cryptic Neil. Very Cryptic. Obviously you managed to get hold of Peter on the phone then.

As for me, I am in it for the public, not as a nanny service to other Councillors. What makes me laugh is the irony of it. The Conservatives are are arguing like mad at the moment and the way out of it it seems is to project Labour as infighting.

Graham, being the public spirited (read bored) person that I am, I have found you some ideas for training courses to help you in your new role. You could spend some of the extra £8000 you will get as opposition leader on them.
