great result

Just got back to sunny Wigan by the pier, what a game and what a result. Bring on Halifax on Tuesday night. Not a bad crowd either - over 1800. Just wish the commentators on Radio Lancs would keep their views to themselves and not say these 2 teams will be playing each other next season in the Football League.
BTW where on earth did the officials learn their trade, the Blind School. They must rank as some of the worst ever to officiate at the Interlink Express Stadium.
Keep it Up Stanley and maybe, just maybe, dreams will come true.

you're right outback. but no matter how much barnet were paying the ref it did'nt matter coz our class shone through. jaggers was my man of the match.

Jaggers and Evil actually :)

What a Performance...............................................

yup fantastic result!!, best performance ive seen by stanley in a long time!

crichton- bit indecisive on crosses but made a couple of excellent saves!
cav- given the run around in the 1st 20 mins but solid after that
robbie- all round great performance
flynn- another great show
butler- in my opinion his best game for the club
jaggers- 10/10 brilliant, never gave up
flickers- another very good game, never gave the ball away
rory- best player in the conference by a MILE, great goal 2
mullin- seems 2 b a bit of the boil, but hey he scored so who cares
evil- again 100% commitment!

and not forgetting

craney- looked hungry when he came on, and scored!
haworth- nice and solid
cook- some good touches
