Though it pains me to say it, very difficult for referees in real time to make a decision in a minute or so. And play-acting by players doesn't help.
Watching her overall performance through "Stanley coloured" glasses I thought she favoured the home side on the night....but I've seen a lot worse referees over many seasons.
On balance I think Devon's a fair but firm player and his reaction was that he thought it was a fair tackle....so I'd go with that. Sorry to lose him for 3 important games .....all with winnable points at stake.
