HAPPINESS !...now there's a word to conjure with...just like ABRACADABRA ??
(Alfred.E. said that not me!!).

But ,as I predicted earlier in the day, joy appears to be in abundance on our Forum tonight...and rightly so....

Anyway, in order for anyone to put their new-found elation into words here's a cheeky little thread for that very purpose!!...

So I'll begin it!!..Here goes...Ready ??....

HAPPINESS IS :- Knowing that John Coleman, Jimmy Bell, Andrew Proctor, and our Super Team will be entering the arena on Saturday (Weather permitting?)..knowing that their futures at Accrington Stanley are safe and secure !.

Hows that for starters.....???...Your turn now!!.

I almost forgot ..
'ON STANLEY!!!...ON!...TO GREATER THINGS !!.

HAPPINESS IS :- is knowing that better things are on the way, on this windy stormy day, as Ilyas Khan saves the day.

:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Great Stuff!!.Didn't expect a poetic outpouring so early in the thread CR !!...perhaps this rhyming vogue might be the 'IN' thing as we go along ???.

Accrington Stanley fans celebrate being Khan do's - Cannot is not a word in the English or any other dictionary

HAPPINESS IS :-The red mist of DOOM and GLOOM has finnaly cleared away to leave a Bright FUTURE for our CLUB!! OUR STANLEY:)

Happiness is...looking forward to a decent night's sleep for the first time in weeks. No more 3am ceiling staring for me! :)

Same here. The sleep might be that good being late for work is a possibility. Be worth it though. :D:D:D:D:D

Yep, me too, Spuggie. Still, I may be late tomorrow but I might actually get some work done instead of alternating between pensively staring out of the window and frantically surfing the net, looking for news! :D

Happiness is a mild cigar from .......... sorry takes me back to me childhood, not smoking them just remembering the advert:eek:

Happiness is knowing tomorrow morning can be the first day of the rest of our Stanley lives:)

This gets better and better !!!....now the joy and delight is tinged with an ever increasing measure of wit and wisdom....What next ???

'ON STANLEY !!...ON!!...TO GREATER THINGS !!!'

There was a young Bear from Peru,
Who got off a bus and did'nt know what to do,
He sharply turned around,
To find himself oustide the Crown Ground

He thought I 'll have a look in here,
So wandered into the BTH Lounge & got a beer,
Sat himself down and gazed all around,
For what this young bear had found

was Eternal Happiness:)

Well at least the first two bits rhymed:cool:

Wonderful PR !!...don't know how Revived Red would mark it though ??..
Does your last line imply that tonight's elation is being shared by those who are..'Gone Before ' ?.....those Stanley Stalwarts who we all fondly remember with respect and gratitude....and who would have revelled in the feelings abroad tonight ??...God bless 'em all !....

Keep 'em coming !!

Going to the crown ground tomorrow to fit seats in the cow shed knowing that come saturday I will be stood on the clayton end and mine and grimps efforts have not been wasted.

To the tune of 'Working Man' by Rita MacNiel:-

Its a Stanley Fan I am
And for 8 weeks at the Crown
They've been tellin fibs, and lettin' people down
Untill along came Mr Khan
With some pennies in His Hand
And He saved the Club for the People of the Town

Ok its not perfect but it is late!!.......Oh and here is the link to the original song for anyone who dosent know it:-
