I have just realised something rather unpleasant I think. If I get elected I will no longer be someone who gets a bit worked up about the odd attack, I will literally be the focus of the attack. I will be on the other side, so's to speak.
This is not a happy thought as it will limit my free speech. If I make a statement, it will not be me making that statement, it will be the Council that's making the statement. No wonder very few councillors actually post on here, they would be in lose lose situation immediately.
One thing I was hoping to bring to the Council was more openness but it's almost impossible - the Fairtrade issue has seen paid to that, I won't be able to speak freely again. It's bad enough as it is,
