..... got up on a saturday morning, looked at the clock saw it was 7.30am, next thought OH IM LATE FOR WORK, got up, dressed in your work stuff, legged it downstairs, put the radio on ... and next thing heard it was a saturday?

Someone did this this morning ........... i'll give you one guess who it was!!!! He actually said he felt like a right prat!!!! Just thought i'd give you all a chance to make him feel better and know he isnt the only one who's done it!!!!:D:D:D

awwww, poor spuggie lol

i havent but my friend took her kids to school in the holidays once and ty woke me up last week and said he was too poorly for school, he got better really quick when i told him it was saturday lol

Due to my irregular sleep pattern I once woke - looked at clock - showed '9' - dressed in a hurry because a grocery delivery was due at 10 - after 30mins it ocurred to me that the dawn wasn't breaking - then I realised it was 9.30PM

Should have known it wouldnt take long to be on here. Used to work Saturdays and I must have been secretly wishing they were back. Would have been worse if I had gone only to find the doors locked. :o:o:o:o:o:o

Im trying to make you feel better about it ........ knowing you arent the only one who's done it!!!! :D:D:D

No I haven't done that, but I have woken up at 5pm in the afternoon(winter) when I was on Night duty and not been able to work out if it was 5am in the morning and I was on a day off, or 5pm at night and I still had to haul my bones out of bed to go to work.

Night duty does that to you......ask Lettie.

All very well but spuggie only got up once, the shock of being a dedicated worker not wanting to let anyone down, good for him! According to your testimony he got up twice, and you're telling us this I presume after a long lie in and you are as good now as your faculties will be for the rest of your day?

Aaah bless Spuggie .. did you go back to bed though ? .. know I would have done .. not really 'once I am up and awake have to stay up' sort of people.

probably would have been more embarrasing if you'd rung work with an excuse for being late :D

To the night shift point I did it for 13 months solid 6 nights a week and the body adjusts. Seems that I have the same problem on "normal" shifts.

Many years ago my sister-in-law from my first marriage was living with us. She was working at Broadleys Printing in Clayton. Can't remember what day it was but she got up washed and dressed and set off to work. It was only when she glanced into the bag wash on Whalley Road that she realised it was two thirty in the morning. Needless to say she came back home and went back to bed.

Once did the opposite , 'forgot' I was on my way to work,at 6 a.m. and drove past my exit ramp on the freeway and was heading towards the bridge toll and San Francisco thinking I was going for a night out . :D

Got it into the parboiled cauli between mi lugs its SUNDAY tomorrow so i can have a lie in YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
