Thought I'd pop in and intro myself. Although I haven't posted before I've been lurking around your forum for some time. I live in Altham West, Accrington although I am originally from the north east. I have been studying the local history and the history of our house in some depth and was pointed in the direction of the forum by a friendly librarian in Accy Library.

I am a bit of a footy fan and have made a few visits to the crown ground!

I am the 5th to bid you welcome, and your posting is just 20mins old . Crown has a capital 'C'' because t'Stanley are capital.

Sorry Bob, obviously I meant The Crown Ground ;) Nice to meet you buddy and feel free to correct my mistakes I might need it. It has been a while since my school days I could probably do with it lol
