Hi Ann.....I'm always upsetting someone...its a gift i've developed over the years!! LOL!! I left in 1974, your name does seem very familar. I was in same year as Barbra Clough/David Mattison/Graham Heywood/Diane Alder.

Best Regards - Taggy

Taggy.
This is how to spell Barbara dont call me i went to school when they taught us how to spell.

You obviously havn't heard of Barbra Streisand then have you Bondi??? Thats how she spells her name, and i'm pretty sure that was how this girl spelt hers which is why i spelt it like that!! DOH!! :p

Best Regards - Taggy

Sorry maybe you are right then but thats how my cousin spells her name maybe my auntie didnt know how to spell in them days as she is now 90 years of age.
DOH. what a shame and her daughter has passed away now so cant go into that any further .

Dont want to upset anyone .

Greetings and welcome to the Accy site, Ann. Did you live on Cranbourne Drive with your parents and brother Andrew who went into the Royal Navy?

:dancedog: Stumped

Yeah - that´s me!!! Andy stayed in RN for about 10yrs. He´s now living in Buckingham with wife and two teenage kids. Working in MK for a computer company. Mum and dad have now moved down there too. Where did you live back then?

I remember Barbara (he-he!!) Clough, Matey, Graham Heywood - wasn´t that the same year as Andy Whitcombe and David Beresford? Maybe also Lee Jennings, Malcolm Rostrom and David Raistrick - I think??
I enjoyed Chris´s (on the whole)....used to love the youth hostel holiday´s - when we´d go off to the Yorkshire dales walking - great fun...ever go on those??? Mr Winkley and Neddy would spearhead those trips - they were a bit grumpy to say the least but we used to have a good crack nonetheless!!!

Yep that would be same year..cant remember Andy being in that year but that might be my brain cells ageing! Unfortunately Dave Beresford died quite some time ago.

Did'nt actually get on any trips out...apart from one up to Malham for the day...exotic eh! I do recall neddy (Mr Riding) he used to terrify me in woodwork...he used to foam at the mouth!!! Lol!!

Remember laughing at Mr Williams who took us for science....none of his experiments ever worked!!

Best Regards - Taggy

that´s right - I remember Neddy´s mouth - awful wasn´t it!!! What a shame about David B....he was a good footballer I seem to remember. Mr Williams was my first form teacher - he was a bit of a burk! Do you remember the two African toads that used to sit in that manky green tank on the side desk of room 16.....poor buggers never used to have any clean water and they were ALWAYS bonking. We used to laugh like hell watching em!
