Well I am not a happy bunny. This broadband malarkey is really hit and miss. When I connected yesterday morning it was great. Much faster than dial up and easy to connect, or so I thought.
I got home from work last night, tried to connect and kept getting an error message that the remote computer was not responding in a timely manner. Frustrated after several attempts, I finally connected on dial up.
Connected on broadband again this morning with no problems. I have just tried to connect again now and received the same error message, once again I am here on dial up.
The folks at Wanadoo rang the other night to see how the broadband was going. As I had only just received my connection I hadn't had chance to check it out. They said that they would ring back in a couple of days and God help them when they do. I will be tearing a strip off someone and asking for my bill to be reduced if I am unable to connect efficiently each time I try.
I really hate it when these large corporations promote that their product is the dog's bollocks, only to find that it is mediocre tat...
