Holidays

was helping richard fix his caravan yesterday, its damp :( he's hoping its going to last this year cos he's planning going away in it a bit, but i wont have to bother about one in suffolk, my aunt lives there and she has one so she'll just put it on a site for me :D

i love caravanning too cherokee :D

I've looked at getting a caravan but my car is getting a bit too old to start having a tow bar fitted. Might look again when I change car.

screw the east coast , anyone planing to visit the U S , you will have a better time on the West Coast ,..... California, Oregon and Washington State ,no hurricanes, no know it all New Yorkers, no Boston Irish ,

Steeljack may be right folks. None of our relatives are out there so it's gotta be more relaxing. Although my understanding Steeljack is that spanish is now the official language of California!:p

Also, according to Rhode Island Irish and Italians, they know it all (except how to drive and keep roads paved!).

What better place to go in the US but Virginia. Heck, it was good enough back in 1607 for the Brits. Come on back and see what the Jamestown colonization hath wrought. Lots of activities to celebrate the 400th anniversary.

You've got the beaches, the Mountains, Civil War sites, Revolutionary War sites (Yorktown bring back any memories?;)), Washington, D.C. sites, wineries (chin chin), NASCAR, International horse shows, hiking, biking, fishing, Professional baseball, the homested of that great carpetbagger LancYorkYankee, etc.
