aside from the first few months - has anyone honestly used them longer term?

i've got a multigym i'm flogging on ebay and apart from the first 4-5 mmonths its just stood there. £350 gone. :(

and if you look at the classifieds you see so much where people have bought them and not used them!!

should've stuck it out at a gym

bike riding is bloody good for u

So is screwing ... and it's a hell of a lot more fun:theband:

I understand that "bike riding is bloody good for u"; and bloody good for the planet too. What I can't understand is the fascination some people have for treadmills and shlt like that ... I mean, you can't get outside and walk! Instead of wasting money on exercise junk, get a dog. Not only will you have a BFF, you will be out walking every day. There is no big secret about exercise: just get out and bloody well do something: walk, run, ride a bike, swim, skate (sorry, that's a Canadian thing, eh) .... and your body will love you for it.

I prefer to take my excercise sitting down.
I tried to import one of these but the shipping costs from USA are exhorbitant.
If you see any on sale in Europe please let me know.

Do you know how you go about getting one of these? Thanks :)

Do you know how you go about getting one of these? Thanks :)

you need to either live, work or have a doctor within the Blackburn with Darwen area, i got my form from the doctors, they had to give me a letter proving where i live and who my doctor was so i could take it to one of the sports centres in BwD

only he would be allowed to use the facilities for free then, tell him to go to Waves or Shad sports centre/daisyfield swimming baths and pick a form up, he will need to prove he works in Blackburn to get a beez card though

and dont think you would be able to use his pass because you won't, they take a photo of you when they first swipe your card which comes up on the computer everytime the card is used

No i wasnt planning that lol. We go to Waves quite a lot with the little one though so him going for free will save a few quid :)
