I think a hot curry..but in Accy it has died out..I used to get my curry from the takeaway shop on Blackburn road down the bottom of Willows Lane.and when I asked for "hot" I got hot..you come lately lot are wimps!

Have had hot ones form there recently (within the past 6 weeks) although have had a few milder ones too

Better of making your own then it can be as hot as you want. I made one a while back that you could cut steel with it and no matter what I did I could not get the excess heat to mellow. I like a hot curry but I couldnt eat it but Jens sister wolfed it down.

Personally, I just like to enjoy what I eat, not to make it a challenge or target as to what my stomach can handle ... :D

used to dine regular at the Azad late 60s, chicken curry n chapati five n a tanner, guy called karim had it then, used to let me n me mate strap till payday, wouldn't let his mates do that. Top Geezer, pity i can't handle em now, guts are knackered, cost of living.:D;)

I was introduced to very hot curry in Columbo in 1957.
Columbo was then Ceylon.
Hell fire I'm getting old

thats what i miss about Bradford, The curries are the best. Nowhere else in England can you get a better one. Well, maybe Birmingham, but i dunno i never been there.

If you ever go to Bradford, go to the nawaab on Valley Road
