I can't believe I have had 2 nice nights at work. No dire emergencies just a nice turnover of women coming in to deliver. It's usually heaving on that ward when I'm on duty, to the point where I have got a reputation for all hell breaking loose on my shift. I was greeted on my first night back by a nice bottle of wine from a lady I delivered 2 weeks ago, as a thankyou. Those kind of thankyous are always welcome, very much appreciated. I've even managed a good sleep today, I only got 4 hours yesterday so was really tired this morning. Having said that, I'm now dossing in my dressing gown writing this, so I'd better get dressed soon as Sparky is coming round for a brew. Could do with writing some Christmas cards too. Apart from the cards I think everything is on schedule for Christmas and I actually feel quite calm at the moment, as opposed to my normal frazzled state. I must have forgotten something.
