Natasha Richardson died this evening after being injured whilst ski-ing in Canada. I feel so sad for her family.

i was listening to the news only an hour ago and it said her family where by her bedside willing her to recover

It's on all the news sites that she has died as a result of a brain injury.

It did say that she was 'brain dead' earlier. So much to live for.

Its hard to imagine as according to the press, when she fell and hit her head she got up and laughed it off. An hour later she complained of an headache and went to the hospital.

Probably the shock. I injured myself snowboarding once and laughed like a maniac afterwards. Then the pain set in...

Guess we can all think of situations where we've taking risks with our health and you don't really think of the worst consequences until you see things like this happen to people.

RIP, such a shame for her family and friends. She was very talented.

Skiing is very dangerous, there has been many famous deaths from skiing most notably Sonny Bono & Michael Kennedy.
