I can't help it........!

For a couple of weeks now we have been plagued with mail drops from all the political parties......angling for our vote....some hope, huh?

I have seen posters in windows, supporting Graham Jones......or just the ones which ask us to 'VOTE LABOUR'.......I have to say that there are far fewer posters in windows than in elections of years gone by.
I haven't seen any posters telling us to vote Tory, or for that matter mentioning the conservative candidate....although she did get her face on the back of a bus(?).

I noted that there is a house close to the hospital which has a Vote Logan poster in the garden.......and there is another one on Nuttall Street in Accrington.......I notice these on the way to visit Ma.

These poster of Kev the Rev really put my back up....irritated the proverbial out of me, and also gave me an uncontrollable urge to stop the car and get out.....take a large indelible marker and draw horns and a tail onto the picture........I hasten to add that I haven't actually done this to the posters......mainly because himself wouldn't stop the car for me to do it.
I'd also feel a bit silly stood up in front of the Magistrate if I got caught.......but today, in the privacy of my own little polling booth I took great pleasure in doing the drawing........it may be childish, it may be silly and juvenile.......but hell, I enjoyed it:D
Please god, let him lose his deposit...PBWY

You're right Margaret, there was a lot fewer posters this election, with the exception of Kevin Logan of course.

I had a feeling throughout the campaign, that he could end up with more posters than votes.I didn't quite work out that way.But not far off.

oooh.......Bernard......that really made me smile...well, it did until I realised that they would have his infuriatingly smug mug on them.......then reality hit like a wrecking ball.
Hopefully these posters will find their way to some bonfire or other.......Now, that would be worth a squiz:D:D
