No....I haven't given up on my learning new lettering.
I practice every day....and recently a few cards have had the verse hand written in this new found skill(I feel that this is pretty brave....offering my work for scrutiny.)...even though I feel that I have a good way to go yet.
Yes....I think I have the gist of it, but it does need polishing up a lot.

Recently my cards have had a hand written tag on their back....and I have put something on the envelopes too.
So here are some examples of how I have progressed.

Wow! You really are achieving some lovely results. I admire your patience and perseverance - it is certainly paying off. The great thing about it is that other people are able to enjoy the end result.

Thank you Dorothy.....yes, there has been improvement, but I still have a way to go.
Though I try not to compare the stuff I do to the work of others, it is hard not to....and to aspire to be better is what keeps improvement going.

What I do know for sure is that those who get my cards, know that special effort has gone into them....and that means something special.

Each time I make a card, there is a little bit of ME in there....though it won't be the part that dusts or cooks!
