I like it when one member posts a blog entry on a subject, and it awakens the memories of other members......and then they write of their memories too.
It is a bit like being round a camp fire and exchanging stories.
Rindy used to post some lovely entries that stirred up memories for me, and off the two of us would go....sometimes in very different directions but always full of spice and interest.
I am sure there are some of the older members on here who could blog wonderfully about their past.......and it is a social document to the past really.
It allows the younger folk to have a little glimpse of how things used to be....and perhaps be thankful in some ways that we have moved on......although I wouldn't swap my past for anything.
It has been rich, though we were poor....and it has made me the resilient(and perhaps awkward) little body that I am.
