16,343 inflatable boats for sale this morning on ebay. anyone fancy a nice little earner.

All well & good but did you read the small print? All have some kind of slow leak, a motor that will only get you half way over the channel(that's all that's required because "The border farce" shuttle service will pick you up), oh & an assortment of gimmies & sandies approx 196,116 that's 12 to a boat.

Taddy a 'whiny' is someone who never lets up on the moaning in a sort of pleading way the kids have when they try to tug at your wallet strings....they want something and whine until they get it.

A would be illegal immigrant, a 16 yr old Sudanese boy washed up on the beach close to Sangatte camp in Calais.
Priti Patel has commented that it is a 'tragic loss'. it is something that happens when people try to circumvent the lawful process of immigration.....this boy did not get out of French waters so it really is none of our concern.
He should not have entered the water.....if he had not done, then he would be safe tonight.
France is a safe country...no persecution,no one trying to shoot him.

Well it is reported that he set off in a 'makeshift boat ' with a spade as a paddle...and he did not get very far.
He was a non swimmer(obviously).

he did not get very far.
He was a non swimmer(obviously).

Strange but true, many set off knowing full well they are poor or non swimmers, yet still they make the attempt. I know my view on such folly & as such I'll let others come to their own conclusions.

Further update on this story.
The lad had a blow up boat and struck it with the shovel(seeing as spade is unacceptable) this cut the inflatable causing it to deflate rapidly.
Aaah, so sad, never mind.

Yes Margaret, I can see how the loss of a perfectly good inflatable would upset you.

(I once got an infraction from the moderators on here for calling a spade a spade! Well, I had to call him something, they wouldn't let me call him Nig...).
