I am back from my brief Devon sojourn.......it was a lovely week but I was not ready to come home at all. Holidays always seem to end so soon.......I ask myself whether we could have got more into the time we were away, the answer - it has to be a NO.
We were on the go from dawn to dusk......and we filled the days with trips and visits, though there were things that we would have liked to do there simply wasn't time. Most days we laughed until we cried, and it was over the silliest things.
We arrived back home late yesterday after the most difficult driving conditions......just as we were leaving the rains came......and it was torrential on the motorway. Fortunately most people had the good sense to drive slowly and there was only one accident that we were aware of.
I have unpacked and done the bit of washing......it's blowing happily on the line in the Lancashire sunshine. I have a bit of catching up to do and then I will settle down and tell you about our trips.
