I'm Hooked.......

I'm hooked....on this making Christmas cards lark.
I have just hit my six dozen mark.
Now there is no way that I will be able to use all these for myself.
So pretty soon some of them will be finding their way onto Ebay for sale.
All the proceeds will be going to Beating Bowel Cancer Charity.....so being hooked might not be such a bad idea..especially if they sell.
If they don't then I have lost nothing but will be sending out these cards for the next few years.:D:D

Jen, you say the nicest things.
I am hoping that the ones with the local scenes will tempt people...they are all my own photographs being used at the moment. But I have contacted a flickr member to ask if I might use a very good snowy photo of his for my endeavours.
I enjoy the creative challenge......and cutting and gluing is quite therapeutic!

Gordon, I don't think the expense is part of the equation. It's the effort and thought that Margaret puts into these cards that makes them so special. Margaret, I think your idea of selling surplus cards for charity is super.

Gordon, my printer is like me quite frugal....and I buy my inks from Jersey......which makes them cheaper still.
I don't drink, I don't smoke...I don't play bingo or go to have my nails done.....so I am pretty low maintenance.
Anyway.....I am worth it :)
And Dotti is right. It isn't about making them cheaper than you can buy in the shops. It is about the personal thought and love that goes into the design and making of each card.
Each one is a little different...even though the graphics may be similar.

While I am doing the cards.....I am not thinking of anything else...so respite care for me.
