I'm Horrified

Shocking.You'd think the stupid bitch might lock her doors at night.Not just to keep unwanted intruders out,but to keep children in.
 
I hope the poor child will be OK and maybe the best thing would be to be taken into care and fostered or even adopted. That mother isn't fit to have a child.

it states the tot cud have been out as early as 2.30 am!! wtf was she doing....probably pi$$ed or high, women like her dont deserve children, lock the bitch up!!
 
OMG!wtf.There are so many questions i wana ask like how comes the door wasn't locked?why was he only wearing a sleeveless t-shirt?(in this weather jack wears a vest and a fleecy romper)where exactly was she-surely anyone would hear a two year old going down the stairs-not exactly quiet are they?!and most importantly why are people like her allowed to have children???????
 
when my kid was two he also used to wear romper suits in this weather, also he was in a COT, yeh he probably did climb out but i also had a safety gate on his door!

I recall social services threatening to take her kids away when she was preganant with the child in the article. Perhaps they should have been more persistent. From memory she has about four kids with several different fathers. About 19 shilling short of a pound
 
Its really upsetting reading stories like this, she doesn't deserve children thats for sure, the front door must have been left open surely.

Yep, scary to see someone u sort of know, not heard of her for ages strange way to get an update but again not nice update yet not surprising at all, i bet social services are kicking themselves now :eek:

If Social Services were that concerned have they been checking up on her since? Her other children should probably be taken into care too if she's such a hopeless mother.
 
I can't believe he was only wearing a nappy and t-shirt this weather, at night Siobhan wears pyjamas and a fleece grow bag. Where was the mother when her baby managed to get out of the house? A child is one of the most precious things in the world and should be looked after and protected at all costs. People like her shouldn't be allowed to have children, she needs stringing up. I hope they throw the book at her.
 
Its terrible that. How can someone not hear a child that young get out of bed/cot and downstairs and outside?

Im just so glad that paper lad was there to help before it was too late and that woman dosent get the chance to do this to that child or another again ..
IMO she should be sterilized ..
 
That report has made me wanna have a Hughie Urquart. The fact it was a fox and the child was still alive though barely is very lucky. A fox will scavenge so if the child had died, which the fox expected hence its actions they might not have found the body. Hope the mother is locked up, sterilised and the child is adopted by a loving caring family.
 
This really upset me - even when my kids are in the basement wearin full clothin i still bung on the heater just to make sure this is so disgraceful

i think the positives have to be seen in this story

a child that hopefully wont have a careless mother such as her and the bravery of the two kids in dealin with the fox
 
Thinking about it, the Fox could have been protecting the baby. It seems it was snarling at the boys, so maybe it didn't want them to take the baby. If so, its come to something when a Fox (which a lot of people describe a vermin) is more protective than the childs own mother.
