Re: Reince

I suppose everybody is entitled to support who they want, that's why you read texts on Teletext from FB from Plymouth who's a life long Manc and would know the where abouts of Old Trafford to save their lives. I can understand people from Accy supporting Rovers and Burnley, because there was no Stanley for so many years. Like you said about being in your blood, my father took me to Ewood for the first time when I was 6 and that's it, plus all my mates were Rovers Fans also. But having said that I did go and watch Stanley prior to 63 and I still like to see them doing well, because I'm interested, If I wasn't I wouldn't go anywhere near the Stanley section on this site.
my story is very similar to jaysays, but i go to see the stanley occasionally n enjoy it, shall be there tomorrow.:)

i cant beleive this pillock is talkin about managing england !!!

Ince would relish England challenge | Blackburn Rovers | English Premier League | Football News from TEAMtalk

also

With Rovers languishing in the bottom three, Ince is determined to lead his team to safety but admits Blackburn are unlikely to challenge at the top end in the near future due to their financial constraints.
He said: "I feel that you just want to stay in this league, because we haven't got the financial clout to do anything else and push forward."

funny how we managed it under hughes dont you think mr ince !!!

Very sorry to hear that, but supposing you weren't thus indisposed...would you have gone? I doubt it!

Mancie...don't tell me you're one of those Cockney Reds!

but I can tell you there's hoards of em down here! :D

A pleasant thought, but Tealeaf and Phil Whalley don't constitute a "horde". Incidentally, when you're feeling better and ready to reacquaint yourself with Old Trafford, there's a nice surprise awaiting you...they run trams there now!

Ive been listening to radio lancashire and they've been waiting to talk to paul ince after the match .... it was announced that paul ince would not be speaking to radio lancashire after the match ....

The manager may have more to say to his team than do interviews...Rovers looked run all over for most of the game ..but to score 3 at Old Trafford is in itself a positive for any team....if Ince gets the boot because of tonights result then it's just plain stupid!

agree 100 %,,,,BUT...having watchecd the match, the players did not seem 100 % motivated...to be honest the team doesnt want to play (for ince) and that itself speeks volumes...i dont lke to make comparisons but (tottenham) springs to mind,,,,,,yes we scored 3 @ OT .....BUT...it was the reserves...IF it had been a lg game i dread to think what would have happened....even the faithfull were singing ince out./...but i guess from the comments here im not one of those...even though i was there .....so be it :rolleyes::rolleyes:........:alright:

ray harford (RIP) 1996/97 season...villa park...to his face i told him he was not upto the job and shouted harford out (to which he replied...."what already")...ask rishton blue...if i see ince (he hides away)...id gladly do the same !!!...i say what i say and i am what i am :jimbo:.....:bootyshak...TTFN

What happens to Ince is of no consequence, never liked him as a player and he hasn,t done anything to change my opinion since going into management. Personally I would like to see Rovers do well as I have friends and family who support them, the comment which I take exception to is that, because I,m a Stanley fan, I have no understanding of tactics. I have been a Stanley man since the mid 50s, I,ve watched football live and, via T.V., all over the world, I,ve played, coached and refereed so why, because I,m a Stanley supporter, should I have less knowledge than a supporter from any other team? A pretty silly statement in my opinion. Incidentally, I just got back from Cuba and one of the first people I met there came up and shook my hand, she recognized my Stanley shirt, she was a Stanley fan from Little Lever. I guess we,re everywhere eh.
