'I see the moon, the moon sees me' Has been going on for years, and can get irritating at times, as she doesn't know any more of the words. Neither do I :D

I SEE THE MOON - 12/03/1954
5 + 1 week at #1 - 15 weeks on chart

Over the mountain over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love

I see the moon the moon sees me
Down through the leaves of the old oak tree
(Please) Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love

Over the mountain over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love

Let the little lady with the tambourine sing (Hee hee hee)
I kissed the rose (no not yet)
I kissed the rose (no not yet)
I kissed the rose and the (no not yet, now)
I kissed the rose the rose kissed me
Fragrant as only a rose can be (sing a little louder miss)
Please take the kiss (not too loud) that comforts me
Back to the one I love

(Everybody altogether)
Over the mountain over the sea
(Back where my heart) Back where my heart is longing to be
(Please let the light) Please let the light that shines on me
(Shine on the one I love) Shine on the one I love

(Everybody once again)
Over the mountain over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
Please let the light that shines on me
Shine on the one I love

oh well it was a catchy tune anyway,,,,:p slinking away quietly......

Because he's a semi-equatic, egg-laying mamal of action!
This furry little flat-foot will never flinch when he's afraid!!
He's got more than just mad skills, he's got a beaver tail and a bill!
The women swoon whenever they here him say " grrrrrrrrr!"
He's Perry! Perry the platapus!!!!!!!!!!

Read somewhere that this phenomenon is just the brain amusing itself because it is bored ... try using your brains and the tunes may stay away.

Having said that, my stick in the brain tunes are YMCA and Kung Fu Fighting ... the latter was used in a Mott's Clamato ad and it pops into my head every time I mix a ceasar.
