Well, we've received our forms to make it all official. When the elections are announced which I presume they must have been (haven't seen anything in the papers or anywhere) you have to fill in an application/nomination form. So now I've got my form and I have to get 10 people who live in my ward to sign it. I've got until the 3rd April to submit it to the Council to be an official candidate.
Have had a good meeting with Dorothy, who's being my agent. We're going to try and get round to most people in the next few weeks - either by phone or on foot. Dorothy is being absolutely lovely to me, she's been in politics forever and she's being very supportive of me considering I'm a complete novice at it.
Hopefully, Chris will have collected my next batch of leaflets at lunchtime so I'll be out over the weekend delivering them. Hope it's good weather.
