I have finally made a start on my assignment today. I have nothing to brag about really as it is the smallest of starts. After spending a few days reading through the mind numbing material and trying to get my head round it, I have written part of the introduction to my essay. This one will definitely have soporific qualities......... I've only done a couple of hundred words and I'm ready for a nap already.
Off to the Octagon tonight to see East is East. It is our only opportunity to go as Sparks has to go to France on Sunday and I am on nights for the rest of the week. I can't believe that he's going away again. I have a week off work next week so I might have to get some more of the essay done whilst he's away. I don't want it to be hanging over us at Christmas.
I may also have to indulge in a day out shopping in Manchester next week and get a few more Christmas pressies. This year has flown by, I really can't believe that it's November already. It seems like a lifetime since I was in New Zealand. I wonder where we'll go next year???
