I have been lambasted at work this week by several of my colleagues...... I hear you ask yourselves what terrible atrocity have I committed to deserve this? I am ashamed to say that I have been stealing from my colleagues........
It all started a couple of weeks ago when a colleague was on the phone to a lady who had rung in with a query. This woman must have been a bit of a chatterbox and K, (my colleague) couldn't get off the phone. K was looking after a lady in labour who rang her call bell while K was still on the phone. I dutifully answered her call bell to find her pushing, and the baby advancing very quickly. I pulled on a pair of gloves and nicked her delivery...
Then last week S was looking after a lady. Another woman rung in and I sent S to get her notes from the records dept. While she was gone S's lady had urges to push and guess what......... I nicked her delivery.
A couple of nights ago C accepted a lady who walked in looking distressed. she helped her into a nighty and took her to the toilet where her waters broke. I went into the room to help her and while C was cleaning up the waters from the bathroom floor, I donned a pair of gloves and...........you guessed it..........I nicked the delivery.
I have decided that I am not good at nicking ackers from Accyweb members, but I can nick deliveries. My only advice to my colleagues is, don't go to the loo, answer the phone, go for a tea break or turn your back for a second, because I will nick your delivery......Hehehehe.......
