January window

What positions need improvement and will we bring anyone in who will hopefully help us climb up the league.

[cashman]

To be honest andy i think we got the players, its just the formation that needs attention. thats my view anyway.

[shakermaker]

Brad Halliday and Tarique Fosu. Failing that, another full back and pacey winger combo

Mr.Donacien will do for one.

[Chrisr]

A big midfielder and a big strong striker. A good supply chain. We have nearly all the players we need we just need to get the system right. personally, I would move Beccles into central midfield. we have the players like Cashy says and we all have questioned the tactics and team selection. Like making a cake we have all the ingredients but we need the Baker to put it all together in the right way.

[football19]

Bucko and get Billy fit !!
Coley knows the loan market,so I predict a couple of unknowns like Fosu could come on board

[stanley nick]

Goalkeeper a must please

[Crown Grounder]

Goalkeeper a must please

Without a doubt, a keeper please on loan from a higher league club.........Worth at least 20 points in the second half of the season.

[DAV007]

Let's wait and see

Goalkeeper a must please

i,d give chapman a run of games and if it doesn,t work out i agree with you.

[accybeme]

just dreaming
Daniel Lucas Rowe of AFC Fylde
27 years old
Appearances 21 Goals 32

[AccyMad]

He'll more than likely be earning far more at Fylde than he would with us

[accybeme]

AccyMad (I did say just dreaming) and there in lies the problem that will always face clubs like ours

[maccawozzagod]

Fairly sure I remember reading that he turned Coley down in favour of Fylde

[st06nc2]

A goal scorer is a must

[DAV007]

i think its more important to get rid of anyone who the manager doesnt rate/get along with.

we dont need passengers in a relegation battle.

we,ve got one in billy. he just needs some help with some big lad who takes some of the weight off him. i wont hold my breath though.

We will always have a passenger so thats not gonna happen.

[Lord Didsbury]

Wouldnt bother unless they are better than what we've got.
Can we really find a dynamic, attacking midfielder? Nice if we could.
A more commanding keeper would help.

[Lord Stiffupperlip]

One thing's for sure, we won't be buying our way out of trouble, thank God!
Other teams have tried it and ended up in administration.
JC is no dope, he knows where our deficiencies lie & will be scouring the market for freebies & loans to help boost the squad.
The Plymouth performance proved we're 90% there, we just need a killer punch.
The fact we live within our meagre budget & remain in the football league is already a minor miracle.
If we're still playing in league two at the end of the season, we will have had a successful season.
Merry Christmas fellow reds.
