I had the privilege and the pleasure of spending 45 mins with Mr Clapton as I gave him a tour of Eurotunnel. He was a real nice bloke. Remember his first question on the Shuttle was, is there no bar on this train?. I told him that he wasnt on the train long enough to have a drink anyway. He said that ok because I dont drink now. Hendrix was into sound effects and so on - when Acid House first came out it was about using technology and making sound effects - it was rumoured Hendrix if stayed alive would have gone in the direction of music like Earth Wind and Fire/Sly Stone etc which is linked to Disco which House music was similar to etc
