Jonothan Smith re-signs

The countries biggest, dirtiest, poorest, backward cul-de-sac.. home of the Mighty Barrow

It's a good signing for Barrow. He's a top quality 'Unibond' defender and he'll chip in with a few goals too. Good luck to him. :)

Lesser of two evils. Jonathan told me M..M..M.. M ,got to get it out Morcambe were interested too. Thank goodness he took my advice & avoided them & that s*** stirrer Kempson!

Yep all the best Smithy, been brilliant...one of the best defenders we have had.

I know he comes on here a lot to have a browse so, even though your off to Barrow all the best matey :)

I hope Smithy is playing for Barrow when we have the "Friendly" and he scores an hat trick with his head just to rub Coleys nose in it.

how that would be amazin!!!

All the good luck going, Smithy. Stanley won't seem the same without you. All managers, however good, make mistakes and John Coleman's letting you go is one of his biggest. One day, odds on, you will return to haunt us big time. There are lots of happy memories of your time at the club....one for sure would be the seminal game at Radcliffe which we had to win when we were in the Unibond 1st division. Lots of Stanley fans ran onto the pitch at the end to congratulate the players. I remember colliding with Smithy (the old back still has a few twinges) and seeing the look of achievement and pride on his face. Pure Accy'! As you have played for them before, even the thickest of the mighty one's supporters will know they are getting one Hell of a player. They are in fact getting a gem!

Good luck Smithy - even if you have ended up at Barrow!! They'd just better treat you right! Hopefully see you soon for your testimonial.
