PROBLEM SORRY FOLKS
BUT i have been informed that we cant use the cricket club this month as they have a chairman's meeting on that sat .
so i have reset the pole so could you all please vote again thankyou sorry about this :)

We might have the Aug meet there will check if its free for the night we need it
 
thats disapointing mick will they make much money from a chairman's meeting i wonder?
 
Prob not Davo but that had been booked and paid for before we had mentioned it as a venue for us ! they gutted about it and look forward to seeing us soon !
 
Oh that's a shame, but only fair the a previous booking should take precedence.

yes i agree you do after honour the booking ,but if it is the chairman of the crickett club would it not be wiser to get founds in than just have a meeting.
 
From my understanding tickets have already been sold and the artiste booked so it wouldn't really be right for them to reschedule it now.
 
ah well thats just one of them unfortunate circumstances life throws up, like the Peel Park anyway.;)may be an idea to close the other thread, with directions to this one.lol

I voted the Vic in harwood, its a lovely old victorian style(listed IIRC) place with a MASSIVE garden. The last time I was in teh Ale was absolutely superb.
 
My vote goes to Peel Park, lovely pub, good size beer garden for the smokers.:)

Hope to maybe make my second meet and have voted the Peel Park as this is kinda my local, and is a nice big pub and good beer :)
 
I'm not all that bothered so have gone with the majority for Peel Park. Have never been but have heard good things.
 
Well I won't be playing pool, i'm terrible when i'm sober, even worse when i've had a drink!! lol.
