So im in the middle of typing a post - when the leccy goes off. I keep one torch in the kitchen and another in the living room just in case. Thank god i had the fire on i wasnt totally in the dark!! So found torch in the living room - underneath the chair so i didnt have to get up, and lit the candles on the fire place after moving anything flammable away from them. Then got the candle out of the pot pourri and stuck it in an ashtray so i wouldnt set fire to the pot pourri and lit that and lit a few tealights and stuck em on a plate. I had light. No radio found my phone - couldnt use it seeing as it has to be plugged in. Found mobile and sent spug a txt telling him leccys gone off and not to ring. So sat there reading the accy observer thought i left accyweb in a hurry - so rang cashy - he stuck a thread on here. All the lights were out on the road and the bypass as well. Now the last time this happened there was a fire in a substation in hassy and it was off for a couple of hours. When i looked at mobile to see how charged up it was - it was halfway - then it went down to the last bar!!! Thought i need that praying it wouldnt go before the leccy came back. Whhhooooaaaa LIGHT the leccy came back. Most important - stick the kettle on!! Turned comp back on and then the phone rang - it was bernie checking up on me - to see if i was ok! Anyway was in the chatroom and i was talking away - the damn thing went again!!! Was off for 5 mins this time. Just got 2 of the candles lit again when it came back on. What is going on?
Now i know theres problems with the lights on the highway in the sky - they keep going off, but these are houses - and im sure theyre on a different substation.
