I have just got a letter this morning 01/10/05 from BVH
We have received a referral to place you on a waiting list under the care of Dr Roberts.
The current waiting time for a coronary angiogram/angioplasty is 3 months.
The maximum time you will have to wait will be 3 months in line with the NHS national plan for maximum waiting times.
We will contact you by post or telephone approximately 6 weeks before your procedure is due to take place to agree a convenient date.
Knowing my luck christmas day , but will let you know .
 
not great mick,but at least its better than 6 months,keep smiling.
 
Keep your chin up Mick......and if I were you I would let them know if you can attend at short notice.....sometimes this speeds up the process......you can sometimes slot into a cancellation.
 
Mick, I hope that you have complained about your previous long wait for treatment. I hope that you are not in hospital over christmas...
