hi all sorry not posted for awhile but ive been under the weather a bit , but coming round now,

our dan, he went for a scan the week before his third chemo, he went in the following week & we had some GOOD news for a change the chemo has worked on the one in his lung ITS GONE, & according to his first scan he had a 3rd lump growing on his head ... but lo & behold THATS GONE TOO, he still has the 2 seconary ones on his head they will treat those with radiotheraphy after his operation on his leg.
we were told also that the chemo does not seem to be working as good on his leg, its because its such a massive sarcoma & they are in the process of reviewing the chemo for that.
dan & jet have spent a grueling week backwards & forwards to christies for his stem cell harvesting ..that was at the end of may ...we managed to go out for a meal for jets *** birthday.

dan has just arrived home today after his 4th chemo .. (2 to go) he has been very tired & off his food with this one .. but his weight is now 11stone (yipee don't tell him i said that ..please) he's not happy about it because he says its fat not muscle. a good report is that his stem cells are ok so in freezer waiting for when he needs them................mez x x
 
Mez, glad you are feeling better.
It is good news about Dan.....and I can't tell you how pleased I am to hear that he is progressing well.
I am pretty sure the team at The Christie will have a Plan B to deal with the main tumour.......and hopefully this will help shrink it before he has surgery.
Keep your chin up chuck.......you know we are all thinking of you, Dan and Jet, and willing things to be Ok for you all.
