Little Tipple??

What is your favorite Christmas / cold night tipple??

I have just poured myself a Mulled wine with a shot ( or two ) of brandy, with a little bit of hot water ....... hmmmmm yum yum.

I also like Baileys poured over Ice.

What's your Christmas tipple??

I love brandy and babycham at christmas, but it's one of those drinks where you don't need too many.

I also like gin with Tia Maria over ice, sounds, awful but it tastes very nice.

I must say it doesn't sound very nice but I'll take your word for it. Thought I'd heard all the weird mixes while doing bar work but that is a first for me!!!

It was an accidental pourage when I worked in the pubs, that got accidentaly poured a heck of a lot more

Might give them a whirl, no point saying yuck till you have tried it as I am always telling my grandchildren when they say they don't like certain foods

One of the nicest (for me) cold weather drinks is an Irish coffee, though I prefer Tia Maria to whiskey if possible, properly made with the cream "head" on top. You drink it quite hot, and get a cream moustache, then spoon the cream and sugar out of the bottom of the glass (this can be followed by an exploratory finger from glass to mouth if no one's looking).

A couple or three of them and you're as warm as toast and quite.....mellow.
