It felt quite strange not to have the anklebiter last night.........I kept wanting to go and check to see that he was asleep......and the cot was empty.
I slept the sleep of the just..........and amazingly enough didn't waken until after 7am.
It has been a lovely sunny day and I know I said I was going to do nothing but I just had to change the towels and the beds and get them out on the line.
There is nothing nicer than getting into bed with clean fresh air dried sheets.
While I was changing the beds I thought that maybe I should turn the mattress too........now that is something that is usually a two man job, but today I did it on my own........I had to exercise a bit of care as I didn't want to break the globes on the bedside lamps.........the bed and the bedside tables are fixed so can't be moved out of the way. I felt quite pleased that I managed without any help. Hubby says that I shouldn't do these things on my own......but hey, I like to live dangerously.
