M & S Ad

[MITZY]

Not sure if this is in right place if not I apologise.
Can someone please tell me the name of the song/tune on the ad for Marks and Spencers It is driving me mad trying to remember it.

[WillowTheWhisp]

Is it Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel - Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me)?

[MITZY]

Thanks Willow

[Uncle Mick]

Saw it last night and it was Sailors 1976 hit " A Glass Of Champagne"

[WillowTheWhisp]

Ooh I've seen that one now! "let's get together the two of us over a glass of champagne" - so was I hearing things with Cockney Rebel?

[Uncle Mick]

They do sound similar, Willow and they are still going strong!

Thanks to you both, cannot say I am familiar with any of the mentioned but obviously must have heard it for the ad to seem so familiar.
