-Legalise prostitution.

-Flat rate of income tax @25% for all.

-Leave the E.E.C.

-Abolish the Royal Family, though her Majesty the Queen would be eligible to stand in the elections to vote for a head of State.

-Make the benefit system unattractive as a career choice.

-Scrap tuition fees and loans for students, and reintroduce the grant system.

-Tax cars more and put the money into improving the public transport system.

-Tighten immigration rules, especially for illegal immigrants.

-Scrap the television licence fee.

-Outlaw sportswear and training shoes, for those not actually playing sport.

TheTimes said:
Gordon Brown, Prime Minister, a biography by Tom Bower, is a popular choice for Tories, while The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins and Alastair Campbell’s The Blair Years are proving to be must-reads for Labour MPs. Lib Dem politicians have preferred to opt for J. K. Rowling’s latest, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I think i'll take a leaf out of the Lib Dems books, magic tax wands for all!

Umm... not sure about this manifesto.. "make the benefit system an unattractive career choice" and "scrap tuition fees for students" could be tied in together.... why should a 16yr old slog his/her guts out at McDonalds to have their taxes pay for some lazy Herbert gaining a degree, hike around the world in their "gap year" then walk into a £30k a year job?

because when the the 16 year old in Mcdonalds gets older and has a heart attack and gets his life saved by a Doctor he will be happy he paid taxes to put the doctor through University.

But he will have already paid for the Doctor through national insurance!.. must have slipped your memory eh Cyfr (typical Tory)

What a stupid remark Mancie .. most students have jobs whilst taking their degrees. My son worked at McDonalds whilst doing his A-levels, Blockbuster whilst taking his degree, had a year out whilst searching for job but made manager at a Blockbusters, then part time working for the company he has now a full time career with, whilst taking his Masters.

Not yet earning £ 30k, but not doing bad .. reckon he deserves it. Still has a debt of £13,000 to pay back.

Ok Katex .. but do you expect me to pay his debts??
I'm saying everyone of us pays for education up to a certain age..no problem.. but why should everyone pay for someone already well educated who may decide to gain better qualifications when other kids simply have to leave school and earn a living.

No, do not expect you to pay his debts at all Mancie. Not saying either that I agree with grants or not .. just objected that you indicated that students were all lazy Herberts that's all, when they clearly are not. Most are willing to work whilst studying to gain qualifications... somebody has to do it as well as the kids that have no incline to go further and finish up working in McDonalds from school, and nowt wrong with that either .. I was very impressed with them as an employer.

1.make it illegal for landlords to own more than 4 houses at a time plus the estate agents who consantly bring areas down by renting out to drug paodophile scum .
2.all houses empty for more than 4 years to be compulsory purchased whatever area they are in.
3.all probation halfway houses to be built or be in empty industrial units[keep the scum away from our children]after all they are our future.
4.build more youth clubs or use alternative accomodation for youth clubs [whatever area they are in .there is a shortage of youth clubs in certain areas i.e oaklea milnshaw.[possibly use urc stanley etc]
5.treat all wards in the borough council equally[certain areas are probably paying less council tax per population and getting more spending on it. why should the average working person be penalised for working and following rules.its not a crime to work.this is only part one;)

6. ban all international call centres from phoning anybody in britain .if companies want to sell in britain they might as well employ somebody in britain that has a half an idea that no means no.

Errm yes but not his degree, which is what we're talking about. Not wages and such, right?

Don't just add "typical Tory" on to things, if I was a typical Tory i'd be shouting "Why should people who work in Mcdonalds fund peoples degrees?" from the rooftops, where as im arguing the complete opposite.

So maybe you are the "typical Tory" eh Mancie?
