I will have to invent a few more of these ficticious working holidays. If it means more excuses for a social gathering, I'm all for it.

Everyone welcome.

How long are you going to be away Sparky, I mean, what are we going to get on the Joke a day page if you're not here?

Hopefully, the hotel will have t'internet, in which case, I can hook up my laptop and join in the fun. When I was in Nanchang last year, all the hotel rooms had a computer in them, and there was free internet access in the lounge bar on the top floor of the hotel.
Earlier this year, when in Dongguan, with Wingy and Royski, we each set up a wireless network in our appartments. It was during this time that I signed up to Accyweb.

In answer to your question, regarding the potential lack of jokes, Lettie will have to work overtime to keep the jokes thread up to maximum revs.

Don't be so modest Sparks, if it wasn't for you & the rest of your mates half the breweries in the world would have to close down!

Sparky is actually a test pilot for Lay z Boy reclining chairs...:D ;) It's a hard, thankless job but someone has to do it.......

Just kidding Sparky...:)

In answer to your question about the job just take a look at my profile.
If you have never looked i'm sure it will make you chuckle. Oh and its roys handywork by the way:D

OK so do you guys work for the same company? What company is it that sends you to all these far-flung places?

Yes we do John, we all work for Emerson and Renwick Engineers in Church. www.eandr.com
Sparkies name gives away his job, Roys a commisioning engineer and i'm a Mechanical Fitter. There are a few more E&R guys knocking about in here too.

Good website. So I guess you guys go out to wherever, to instal these machines for your clients. Or, if they go wrong (I'm sure that doesn't happen very often) go out and repair them eh? Good stuff. It looks to be a very solid and efficient company. Good to know that there are still innovative and highly skilled companies and personnel in Accrington.

Just another thought, how come you lot never get sent to a dry state? Is it because, a) you just wouldn't go. or b) Your sales personnel are just as big a set of pi** heads as the rest of you & they wouldn't go to set up the deal in the first place?
