Haven't posted in journal for nearly a week now as although theres things going on I think I have just got a mental block when it comes to getting it down in here!!!
I know it's only approaching mid nov but I am usually all xmas shopped by end of nov and yet I have hardly bought a thing.
Now my boys are teenagers and liable to change their minds like the weather I daren't venture buying them anything except stocking fillers till nearer the time. Even stocking fillers for them cost the earth so have had to warn them that there will be a lot less this year. It's not that I can't afford it but I have brought them up knowing that I make a budget for xmas and birthdays and think its insane to go too mad.
My eldest seems to be leaning more towards wanting clothes for the first time this year (he will be 14 xmas day) and I have decided that any clothes I buy them I will only account half of what it cost towards their pressie budget. Reason for this is that it will save me buying them before or after as a non present so would feel guilty accounting for the whole cost. Errrrr does that really make any sense??????????
