Mick's Pics.

see, it is happening again.
Mick put an old snap of himself as a child on here....surrounded by Easter eggs.
I hope he shared them out and didn't eat them all by himself.

Seeing the photo of a very young(and bonny) Mick made me think of some of the old pictures that I have.
I have some of me playing in the street, some of me brushing the dogs teeth with my own toothbrush(I hope someone threw it in the bin afterwards-I don't like to think that I used it after brushing Nelly Blumps teeth. although I haven't come to any great harm).....So Easter Monday has been a cheap do, because all I have done really is looked at the old snaps....and that has cost nowt as it has been in the comfort of my own easy chair.......ah for such simple pleasures.
Anyway, perhaps i will post some of the pics on my blogs at some stage........!

I found a pic of my Mum.......the pic must have been taken sometime around September 1947.......she would have been round about 21 years old. The bundle that she has in her arms is me.........and it was my Christening day.
Her suit was a coffee coloured Crepe de Chine number and don't ask me where she got it from, or how many coupons it cost...... I just know that she wore it at every opportunity because she loved it and felt good in it.....and more to the point, I can remember her wearing it.

It is one of my favourite pictures of my Mum as a young woman, that, and one of her in uniform.
I think she looks absolutely beautiful, but of course I am biased.

Your mum looks so beautiful, and so proud.

I'd love to see more pictures to go with your blog.

I do put pictures on when they are appropriate Gary.......Maybe I should go back to some of the older episodes and add some pictures.

I'm not sure if it was possible to add pictures to the blogs when I first started.......anyway I wasn't savvy enough then.
