The advert had to go eventually because it doesn't ring true. Nobody says "Who are they?" Everybody has heard of Accrington Stanley!Doug said:Getting back to the subject, Can I just say that the Milk Advert was in my opinion just a little bit demeaning when you consider Stanley’s illustrious past and should stay buried in the achieves collecting dust.
After leavening Accrington I spent the first ten years having idiots trying to be funny by repeating "Accrington Stanley" “they use to be a football team you know” or the other one the T**** would come out with was "does the stagecoach still come to meet the train at Preston", ba***rds. I still hate that bloody advert.WillowTheWhisp said:The advert had to go eventually because it doesn't ring true. Nobody says "Who are they?" Everybody has heard of Accrington Stanley!
